Catch 6-8

CATCH is the coordinated school health program that was chosen by Poolville ISD. CATCH stands for the Coordinated Approach To Child Health. CATCH is a process that builds an alliance of parents, teachers, child nutrition personnel, school staff, and community partners to teach children and their families how to be healthy for a lifetime. Effective coordinated school programs reinforce positive healthy behaviors throughout the day and make it clear that good health and learning go hand in hand. The four CATCH components

  1. GO FOR HEALTH Classroom Curriculum,
  2. CATCH PHYSICAL EDUCATION,
  3. EAT SMART School Nutrition Guide,
  4. Family HOME TEAM activities reinforce positive healthy behaviors throughout a child's day.
