SPORTS UPDATES

Golf
Eric Hamilton finished third at the regional tournament in Nacogdoches.  Hamilton fired a 83-79 for a 162 total to take the Bronze medal.  Garren Lesko shot 94-97 as Poolville's other regional qualifier.

Tennis

UPDATE: Bradley Smith and Eric Hamilton win State Semi-Final match 6-2, 6-1. Smith and Hamilton finished with the Silver Medal after losing 6-4,6-4 in the finals.

Bradley Smith and Eric Hamilton won the Regional Title in Boys Doubles.  They will play at state on May 5-6.
The Monarchs and Lady Monarchs captured another district tile in Tennis.  Check out the results on the Tennis Page. Regional Tennis will be in Nacogdoches on April 23-24

Baseball                                                                                                                            Monarchs Defeat Gordon 7-0 to claim Bi-District Championship.  Poolville's season ends with 3-2 and 4-2 losses in the Area round to Petrolia.

Track                                                                                                                                   Halston Portalez sets School Record with third place at Regionals.  Portalez ran a 2:01 in winning the Bronze in the 800 Meter Run.                                                                                                                                            The Monarchs will be sending three athletes to the Regional Meet.  Halston Portalez won the 400 meter in 52.33 and finished second in the 800.  Joe Karm finished second in the 3200. Victoria Martinez will represent the Lady Monarchs in the Long Jump at Regionals.  Regionals will be in Nacogdoches on April 25-26.
